On February 21st Baltic’s biggest indoor music festival Tallinn Music Week will be hosting its first ever pre-party at the Palladium concert hall in Riga, Latvia. The evening will feature the Estonian alternative rock sensation Sibyl Vane, the melodic Argo Vals and the Latvian indie rockers Astro’n’out.  The entrance is free of charge upon requesting an invitation at tmw.positivusfestival.com

Baltic’s most extensive indoor festival Tallinn Music Week - taking place on the first weekend of April – will feature fresh new music from more than 230 hottest bands and artists from the Baltics, Russia and the Nordic countries. The 50 stages located in Tallinn’s coolest cafes, galleries and clubs will offer the TMW visitors a captivating musical journey through indie-rock and electronic to metal, folk, jazz and classical music.

With prominent bands like Ewert and the Two Dragons, Instrumenti and many more previously taking part in the festival showcases, the Tallinn Music Week is a unique platform for the promotion and support of Baltic and international bands. The Tallinn Music Week pre-party will offer a glimpse of some of this year’s most promising Baltic acts.

With an extremely eventful past year, the popular Estonian alternative rock, pop and blues band Sibyl Vane, who signed a publishing contract with “I Love You Records” after a successful performance at last year’s Tallinn Music Week, have plenty of cause for celebration – in 2012 the Estonian trio opened for Garbage at Palladium, performed an exciting gig at Positivus and released their debut album „Love, Holy Water and TV”.

Estonia’s minimalistic electro prodigy Argo Vals will also be performing at the event. With his critically acclaimed debut album "Tsihcier" nominated in the "Best alternative album" category at this year's Estonian Music Awards, Argo is definitely one to watch at next week’s event.

Celebrating the release of their fifth studio album “Lauvas” (Lions) with an exuberant sold out show at the Palladium concert hall last winter, one of Latvia’s coolest and most popular indie rock bands Astro’n’out will perform an acoustic set at the festive occasion. Ever since releasing their hit single “Daļa Rīgas” (Part of Riga), the band has become an invaluable part of the local music and culture scene.
