Biffy Clyro will perform in Riga on November

During their European tour one of the sensations of contemporary alternative rock – Biffy Clyro are happy to please their loyal and new fans with an unfergettable performance at concerthall Palladium on November 11th .

The band was established in middle of the 90's by 3 guys: soloist and guitarist Simon Neil, bass player James Johnston and his twin brother, drummer Ben Johnston.

Biffy Clyro are famous by their sound and rhythm amplitude, what varies a lot. Starting as quiet, even whisper like guitars, it suddenly becomes into powerful wall of sound and noise accompanied by massive crashing drums. At the same time clear melody still can be recognized. That's why each of their live performance is so highly anticipated. The fervor and self-devotion what lives in those guys is understood in both clubs and stadiums.

During their career Biffy Clyro have released 6 albums, of which the latest one - Opposites - was shared with their fans in this winter. Three of the albums – Puzzle, Only Revolutions and Opposites – have entered UK Top 5.

After 3 first albums, which received not so significant recognition, right the fourth – Puzzle – in 2007 helped Biffy Clyro to reach attention of wider audience. Puzzle, which mostly consisted of recordings made in Canada, entered 2nd place of the top in very first week of issue.

Two years later, in november 2009, the band have released Only Revolutions, which sales reached Gold in the first week.

And the latest one, released on January 28, 2013, on February 3rd finally topped UK Album chart.

In 2011 Biffy Clyro are nominated for Brit Award and this year they won NME Awards as the best British band.

During their career the band have warmed up such grands as Muse, The Who, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Rolling Stones. Following their success of their latest album they are headliners of both Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Simon Neil, the band's frontman: “It seems that the people, who have heard us, fall in love with our music. And that's the most important thing. The world is still full with such likes, who probably will share the same good feeling. But our main goal is to keep being the most favorite band for ourselves and I think we still make it.”
