Scandalous rap instigator Tommy Cash presents a new album in Riga
On December 21, the famous Estonian rapper Tommy Cash is performing in the Palladium concert hall in Riga. For the first time, his Latvian fans will hear live tracks from the artist’s new album.
Music critics call Tommy Cash a conceptual artist, capable of crashing preconceived beliefs and destroying the boundaries of sexuality and genre frameworks.
In Riga, the trending rapper presents the tracks from the new album ¥€$, released in November 2018. The second solo album impresses with its genre diversity: from ethnic motifs with hard bass to hip hop in the style of Danny Brown. The album includes the track X-RAY, a clip on which collected almost 3 million views on YouTube.
Entrance to the concert is opening at 19.00. The audience will be warmed up by famous Latvian DJ Nicola Negorod. Original authorial house and techno tracks will create the necessary mood.
After the active warm up set, at 21.00 the man of the evening, Tommy Cash, will enter the stage. Spectators are in for an amazing show with unique visual and lighting effects. During the concert, artist’s fans will be able to purchase official products with Tommy Cash branding.
The party will continue with an after-party in the Autentika Riga night club. As usual, the artist’s team saved a lot of surprises especially for this format.

For reference: Tommy Cash (Tomas Tammemets) is an Estonian rapper performing in mixed genres. He gained wide popularity thanks to provocative stage images and scandalous video clips. His style is called “gypsy chic” or “Russian trash”. In his work, the rapper often refers to the hangover of East European and Russian culture of the 90s.
