TECHCHILL BALTICS 2015: FEBRUARY 10TH, STARTUP OPERATIONS AND GREAT SPEAKERS’ CAST

Along with the winter season, the coolest and the most content-driven IT and startup conference TechChill Baltics in Riga, Latvia, reveals it will take place on February, 10th, 2015. Focusing on such topics as startup operations and growth, it will gather business professionals, startups, tech enthusiasts, investors and students.  Early-bird tickets are already available on http://tcbaltics.com/.

The first conference, initially known as TechCrunch Baltics, was held in 2012, building a place for opinions, new business relations and ideas and showcasing the Baltic startup movement. Since then, the conference, renamed as TechChill Baltics, has become a part of the Northern European IT and tech business environment, each year gathering startups, business experts, tech enthusiasts and students from the region, Western Europe and the USA. In its fourth year TechChill Baltics 2015 expects more than 400 attendees, offering keynotes and panel discussions by startup world leaders, as well as startup booths and pitch competition.

TechChill Baltics 2015 focuses on startup operations and development, giving insights in hiring, financing, scaling, growth hacking and running development teams. Among the speakers is Jonathan Bradford, Managing Director at TechStars in London and Co-founder of F6s and Springboard, who will share his story on the current shifts in accelerators.  While working in Europe, he has taken part in creation and development of such accelerators as ignite100, Estonian Startup Wise Guys and Bulgarian Eleven.  Jonathan has likewise gained knowledge in startup business planning, funding and team management.

The conference also welcomes George Berkowski, the author of How to build a billion dollar app that covers George’s experience in developing the HAILO taxi app. 2.5 million people now use HAILO to get a taxi, and that has resulted in revenues valued in millions. Currently George is the CEO of a new photo app called IceCream. Startup management experience will be shared by Joe Cohen, ex-CEO at the biggest ticket seller Seatwave and COO at the online dating giant Match.com. In addition, David Bizer will reveal some tricks in hiring. He is a partner at Talent Fountain and pioneer in global internet recruiting with a unique bi-continental background discovering talent from Silicon Valley to the technology hubs of Europe. In 15 years David has helped more than 4000 IT professionals in more than 25 countries find a job, and in 2003 he was named the first European recruiter at the tech grand Google.
Other speakers are Andrew Hoag (President at Ferocia, ex-Managing Director at Startup Institute and founder of Urbantag), Cristobal Alonso (Chief Transformation Officer at Telenor Denmark), Colette Ballou (CEO at Ballou PR), Ramon Recuero Moreno (Senior Software Manager at global SEO leader company Moz, ex-Software Engineer at Zynga, helped creating Zynga Ad Platform), and Toms Baugis (UX/UI at Parsely).
