HOW TO DRESS WELL TO PERFORM AT PALLADIUM

Brooklyn’s experimental pop singer and ethereal/R&B artist How To Dress Well will perform his only show in the Baltic States at the Palladium concert hall on May 8th.

How to Dress Well is the stage name of the experimental pop producer, singer and R&B artist from Brooklyn Tom Krell. With an intriguing reflection of his melancholic emotional spectrum, Krell has had significant influence in constituting the ethereal/R&B genre.

How To Dress Well has released two studio albums – “Love Remains” (2010) and “Total Loss” (2012), both of which generated positive reviews from music critics around the world, with Pitchfork Media including both albums in their “Best New Music” category.

Krell’s debut album “Love Remains” (2010) earned him a spot in Stereogum’s  “40 Best Bands of 2010” while Spin Magazine gave it 8 out of 10 stars, calling the debut “as meditative as it is evocative”.

For the North American leg of this year’s “Total Loss” tour Krell is teaming up with the U.S. synth pop siren Sky Ferreira, while also performing at several prominent festivals later on in Europe, including Spain’s “Primavera” and Brighton’s “Great Escape” amongst others.

Striving for a balance between wordless singing and signifying lyrics, Krell’s music is at once emotionally charged, sincere and soulful. His performances paint the most accurate picture of the art form of his music – when on stage, Krell is like an open book – embracing, sharing and re-living his emotions together with the audience.
