EWERT AND THE TWO DRAGONS RETURN TO PALLADIUM RIGA

Baltic’s biggest folk-rock sensation Ewert and the Two Dragons will return to Palladium Riga on the 1.st of March.

The renowned Estonian breakthrough act Ewert and the Two Dragons will commence the first day of spring with a lively performance on the 1.st of March at the Palladium concert hall in Riga. Proving that 2012 was indeed the year of the dragon, the Positivus festival veterans not only concluded a successful North American and European tour, but also firmly established themselves as the most prominent Baltic breakthrough act.

The band first rose to fame with the release of their hit single „(In The End) There’s Only Love” from their second studio album „Good Man Down” (2011). Released by the Latvian “I Love You” record label, the album became a real musical sensation, earning Ewert and the Two Dragons five “Estonian Music Awards” as well as the “Hit of the Year Award” from Raadio2.

Building up on the initial success, the band performed at some of Europe’s biggest music festivals, including Germany’s ‘Popkom’, Austria’s ‘Waves Vienna’ as well as Holland’s ‘Eurosonic Festival’ with two sold out shows. In 2012 Ewert and the Two Dragons signed an exclusive worldwide songwriting agreement with BMG Germany.

With their live performances always filled with restless energy and unyielding passion for music, Ewert and the Two Dragons skilfully combine instruments and vocals in a perfect harmony of melody and rhythm.

The band line-up consists of Ewert Sundja on vocals and keyboard, Erki Pärnoja on guitar and back vocals, Ivo Etti on base, acoustic guitar and back vocals and Kristjan Kallas on drums and percussions.
