On April 15thone of the most successful British metal bands Bullet For My Valentine (further BFMV) will perform at Palladium Riga. 

The setlist is built in a way it includes the both the most noticed songs of the latest album “Gravity” (2018) Not Dead Yet, Letting You Go, Over It, Don't Need You, and the band's all-time hitsTears Don't Fall, 4 Words (To Choke Upon), Scream Aim Fire, Waking the Demon, Your Betrayal, No Way Out,etc.

BFMV is one of the best-known metalcore bands of this century and the key to its success grounds in smart merging metal and punk-rock of 80's with melodic and dark lyrics.

Not hiding the fact that in their early days they were influenced by such grands as Metallica, Slayer and Iron Maiden, the Welsh quartet BFMV was able to extend the boundaries of the metal music genre and that way attracting attention from the very diverse audiences. 

All of them metal lovers, punk rock fans and emo culture individuals have accepted the band as a part of their community. Even band's youngster period heroes Metallica and Iron Maiden have appreciated the achievements of BFMV by personally inviting to hit the road and share the stage with them. 

Heavy music magazines Metal Hammer and Kerrang! crowned BFMV the best British band in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

During their career the band has released six studio albums of which the critics highlighting the debut one "The Poison" (2005), as well as "Fever" (2010) and "Temper Temper" (2013). Already with “The Poison” BFMV has managed to conquer the US market: 500,000 copies of total over 2 millions have been sold there, earning official Gold. In total, the band has sold approx. 5 million copies of their albums, which is a very great result in today's heavy rock industry.

At the same time, the band does not want to stagnate, immerse themselves in its comfort zone. Their frontman and founding singer/guitarist Matthew Tuck comments: "Over the last 12 months, I’ve been thinking about the word contemporary a lot. And I feel this is a contemporary record. It’s not an old school, heart-on-your-sleeve influences thing. We’ve done that [enough] so let’s move forward and make the band more interesting. We don’t want to alienate anyone…"Sold out gigs all over Europe US and UK just proof that  BFMV's taking the right path.
